No Corn Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Organic brown rice flour
  • 1/2 cup organic barley flour
  • 1/2 cup organic white spelt or unbleached flour
  • 4 Teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dry milk powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tablespoons canola oil
  • 3/4-1 cup water add this slowly,try not to make to liquidy

Directions

Melt butter in a 10-inch deep dish pie plate or 8×8 pyrex, while mixing batter. Blend together brown rice flour, barley flour, spelt , baking powder, salt and milk powder. Make a well in dry mixture and add egg, oil and water. Stir until completely mixed; pour into hot dish. Bake at 450 for 15-20 minutes.
